Friends

Isn't it weird how some of your friends just fall off the planet?

I think it interesting to think that there are many people you've met in your life, some friends, whom you'll never talk to or see again.

This saddens me a bit.

Yes, it is true... Some friends do seemingly fall off the face of the planet. Sometimes, it happens when you aren't ready for them to... Sometimes it happens with those that promise in junior high and high school that you will be friends forever...

But sometimes, we are blessed with friends that never go anywhere... We are blessed with friends to whom interstellar travel is not appealing... Friends that like life right here... Perhaps that is something more to focus on...

Everyone is different, and, as such, everyone is bound to make decisions and choices that sometimes conflict with previously held ideals of the recent, yet, seemingly distant, past...

But you know, the fact that everyone IS different is what makes life worth living... It's a big part of why we're here, I think... to sort through those differences and persevere... To establish bonds and friendships that never fade... To cement into our minds the importance of family and Love...

Though some friends are lost, and some bonds broken, both mutual and apart... I have you, my sweet Angel... I have you, and you are all that I will ever need... It is not often in this world that true, unconditional, indestructible, and unyielding Love is found... but that is what we have, I believe... I also believe that as long as we have such a powerful and never-ending Love, nothing will ever phase us... Cuz' we're a team... and together, we can handle anything... anything at all...

But back to the subject... sorry, sometimes I get lost inside my head with you...

Some people simply have a different perspective when it comes to friendship/family... The only thing that we can do is be the best friends/sons/daughters that we can be... and hope that the other party returns the same sentiment... But I never know what I'm talking about... so, disregard the aforementioned, as it is not relevant to any situation in life ;-) (except for the part about you and me)

I Love you, my Angel...

Your Love...
